What type of control was used to create menu on the left side?

Hello Dominik,
I'm not sure which is the menu on the left side you refer to, so I speculate.
If you mean the list that shows the different profiler session views (e.g. Call Tree, Hot Spots, Instances By Type, etc.) then it's a heavily customized RadListBox. It has custom DataTemplate's for the category headers and individual tabs. The tabbing functionality and close button were custom built.
If you mean the menu in the backstage (the Start tab of the ribbon) - it comes as part of the RadRibbonView control that we use.
