Hi,

I'm facing an issue which supposed to be Fixed in the last internal build ( Telerik.Web.UI_2012_1_327_Dev_hotfix ).

What's fixed

  • FIX New IDs are set to the template controls after first postback.

i still have the same issue i donn't know why ?

Attached some pictures shows that my radzone ClientID changed every time i do postback from inside an orgChart template , the click event that do the postback is creating a new node to the orgchart  and bind the orgchart again, so when i do that the orgchart set new IDs to the templates.

while when i do postback from a button outside the orgchart and bind the orgchart again it doesn't set new IDs.

Thank you.

Hi Haitham,

I will test your sample project with RadDock and RadOrgChart after the fix is applied to our code, so I can  make sure that everything will work correctly.

Hi Haitham,

The fix is ready and it will be available in our internal build today. I reviewed your project and refactored it. Please review the attachment. Keep in mind that when you bind the RadOrgChart control two times in a roll e.g. with the same data the templates will have different IDs after the second binding. For that reason I removed the click handler of the button (AddSection) and implemented a custom logic in PreInit stage of the page life cycle.

In order to avoid duplication of the threads, please let us continue our discussion in only one of the threads.
