Hello Team;

AS I was reading some of the notes from the ASP team regarding the vNext being developed from ground up and it's basically a new product, my understanding from their statement was that, vNext is NOT compatible with the previous ASP.Net. Another words, don't expect to load in your existing projects and expect it to compile and run. Lots of things have been removed and it's based on the mini version of .Net

This raises the question and concern and I would greatly appreciate if the team, can provide an answer and roadmap for the following questions.
Guessing the vNext breaks existing codes,
- What's going to happen with all the Kendo MVC wrappers?
- What's telerik's plan for this NEW ASP.Net?
- Will there be new Native control/widgets for the New ASP.Net?
- Based on the alpha version out, do you see major differences and direction change with vNext?

It would be very important for us to know the direction of Telerik with ASP vNext and a time table.

Thank you in advance!
..Ben

Hello Ben,

We plan to support ASP.NET vNext with Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC. Unfortunately I can't give more specific info at this time. Stay tuned for a blog post that will announce our plans.
