Hello Satabdi,
Did you have a chance to look at Remote binding or Local binding demos? Both of them shows how to bind the widget to a flat table.

No, but they will be supported in the upcoming release of Kendo UI (SP1 Q2 2014) due the mid of this week. You can try it once the SP release is out).
