Kendo Mobile Music Store Sample - Cannot Load Designer View

Hi I'm new to Icenium. When I try cloning the kendo mobile music store sample in Graphite, I get this error.

Cannot load designer view, Designer view is only available for projects with the Kendio UI Mobile or Dataviz templates.

Any reasons why the only sample which says Kendo Mobile doesnt run with kendo mobile? Is there something else I missed or need to do?

Hello Jae,

The Kendo Mobile Music Store sample is currently out of date. It uses an older version of Kendo UI Mobile, as versions starting from Kendo UI Q2 2013 introduce breaking changes that cannot be easily fixed. Therefore we decided it is better to rewrite the sample, which is currently a work in progress. So to sum up:

• the sample uses old Kendo with first version of the experimental designer that has problems.
• the sample relies on requirejs to load the project libraries, which is currently unhandled scenario for the designer.

If you wish to test the Kendo UI Designer, we suggest creating a new project with the Kendo UI template, which would work as expected. We would like to note once again that the UI Designer tool is an experimental module with limited functionality and problems are to be expected.
