Do you guys plan on supporting jQuery 2.0 in the near future? I tried using it and the Grids got all out of whack.

Hello,

I couldn't reproduce any problems in this jsbin demo: http://jsbin.com/ibahos/1/edit

If jQuery 2.0 is compatible with jQuery 1.9 (which it claims to be) Kendo UI should already support it.

We recently updated to 2013 Q1 and jQuery 2.0.  For the most part, everything is fine.

One thing we are noticing is in the Kendo Grid, we are getting nested ColGroup tags, breaking the fixed width functionality for the Grid.

We have not been able to ascertain whether this is due to jQuery 2.0 or some kendo-knockout binding issues.

Are you able to reproduce the problem?

That is the exact same problem that I am having with jQuery 2.0, but I am not using knockout. I am using Kendo's MVVM.

Hello,

There was indeed an issue in jQuery 2.0 which they fixed. We also addressed it locally and the latest internal build would work as expected. That build would be ready tomorrow.

Kind regards,

It appears that jQuery 2.20 is not compatible with the scheduler control, the scheduler columns are completely wrecked - reverting to jQuery 1.10 corrects the issue.

Hello Brett,

We are currently working on introducing jQuery 2.2.x support. Please note that there is at least one bug in 2.2.0 (and 1.12.0) that is currently breaking popups in IE, so we advise to wait for 2.2.1 and the fixes from our side.

Sorry for butting in, but in the example you gave, are we supposed to be able to drag the column headings up to the top of the grid in IE 11?  Because I can't.  I can in Chrome 54.

Hello Claire,

I can assume that you are referring to the following :

http://jsbin.com/ibahos/1/edit

If that is correct, please have in mind that this demo is from 2013 and it is using an old version of Kendo UI.

I made the same example in Dojo using the latest version of Kendo UI( 2016.3.1028 ), and it is working as expected on Internet Explorer 11:
