Hi Ame,

Thank you for your interest in Test Studio.

In general java based web applications are possible to automate.They should be open in a browser though.

Did you try to record/execute automation test against particular java application and are there any difficulty that you are facing? If the app is public facing please provide the url to investigate the problem.
