Does anyone know of a tool to convert j# to either vb or c#? J# has been "retired" as of the next version of visual studio and we have inherited an app which we'd like to convert to something more familiar and supported.

I am using Reflector for that. Just open the assembly compiled with J# with reflector (available for download at):
http://www.aisto.com/roeder/dotnet/
and then use the conversion to VB.NET / C# from the language dropdown at the main Reflector toolbar.
You can use Reflector add-ins such as Denis Bauer's Disassembler to save the resulting C# / VB.NET source to files. The add in is available here:
http://www.denisbauer.com/NETTools/FileDisassembler.aspx
