First, great job on the drag and drop implementation within the tree view.  It's exactly what I need.  THANKS.

There's one small issue.  When nesting items via drag and drop the item nesting works great.  When un nesting. the item indentation doesn't move back over to the left.

thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

We will continue to extend the TreeView drag/drop mechanism by providing the ability to drag/drop to/from any object on the page.

As for the problem you have with the indentation - we could not reproduce it. What I tried is to drop an item into the hierarchy in level 3 and then to drop it on level0 - the indentation was correct in both cases. What is the exact problem - and how we can reproduce it?

Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi Valentin,

I'm working with Release: 099842_Telerik_RadControls_for_Silverlight_Beta2_Dev

The steps to reproduce the issue are the exact same that you described.

I'm added in several items in the treeview.  D&D from shallow in the hierarchy to deeper works great.  From deep to shallow doesn't.

I'm rebuilding the project today.  As soon as I do get it buildable again, I'll get some screen shots.

Thanks,
steve

Is that a later release as compared to the Dev version. I'm using the Dev version based on a recommendation in this thread.

All though, I've all but given up on Blend, and could go back to the main release easy enough i guess.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

You can stick with the version you have. We haven't make any changes to the TreeView control so its ok to keep it - no need from revert.

Thanks for the additional clarification - we are now able to reproduce the problem. We will fix this with the next release.

Thanks and let us know if you have any other feedback on the controls.

Thanks.  Was the ability to suppress nesting the tree vew (ie flat drag and drop list box) included in the release also?

Hi Steve,

no we were not able to integrate our new the Drag/Drop framework into the RadTreeView for this release. We will do so for the next release which is after a month and a half.
