I've started another thread on some issues I'm having, but I just wanted to check whether the Testing Framework works on 64-bit Windows 7, and if anybody has been able to get tests to run reliably.

Yes, I did with build Telerik.WebAii.Framework.2010.3.1615 (It works for IE, Chrome, FF, Safari) but with Silverlight, it works on IE only.

BTW, there is a new build Telerik_Testing_Framework_2011_1_609_FREE_EDITION which included the fix for http://www.telerik.com/support/pits.aspx#/public/test-studio/5080 expected to make Silverlight works on Chrome, FF, and Safari.

Thanks, San.  Our app does dynamically load .xap files, so that may be our issue.

Hello Paul,

Please upgrade to the 2011.1.609 version and let us know if the problem persists. As San mentioned the multiple XAP file issue was just fixed.

Kind regards,

Hi, The 2011.1.609 version works well on IE (as older version does), FF, and Safari. But it still has problem with Chrome; where the XAP get loaded successfully but the framework can not handle silverlight object (please see my logged issue here for detail).

Hi guys,

The new WebAii library (2011.1.609.0) does not work for IE (IE8, IE9) when the target platform is x64.  It works fine for x86. Are there any known issues with this? The symptoms are that the web browser shows blank page.

Hi Adrian, You are correct. It doesn't work with x64, blank page display at my test as well.

I have updated my VS to debug mode in x86 then everything works just fine.

I don't know if there is any known issues on this.

Hello Adrian & San,

Telerik Testing Framework and Test Studio products are not compatible with 64-bit IE.

Hi,  I was just wondering if this is resolved? Does telerik Testing Framework now supports IE9 64bit?   Thanks

Hello Nahla,

In short, no. IE 9 64-bit is too different from 32-bit such that we will not be able to support it. Also there is no demand for testing and using IE 9 64-bit. We do support IE10 64-bit, but only on Windows 8.
