Hello,

I have questions from customers who want to use Ipad for showing and editing webpages in Safaribrowser. Iphone is also actual.

Do Telerik have products for help here?

We have found some css-librarys for formatting controls on aspx-pages for Iphone. Any other good angles for attack this kind of problems or some good samles/demos to start with?

Hi Magne,
With Q1 2011, we will fix most problems of our RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX in mobile browsers. Some problems, however, cannot be fixed. For example, Safari for iPhone / iPad still does not offer a Rich Text Editing engine that the web WYSIWYG editors use to provide the ability to edit and format rich text content. That is why, RadEditor renders as a textbox in this case. For additional information, please refer to the following article:

Best wishes,

Hello Magne,

Please, review the release notes for Q1.2011 - http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-ajax/whats-new/release-history/q1-2011-version-2011-1-315.aspx. Notice the following item under the Common for all controls category - Added: Enhanced mobile devices support (touch/drag gestures).
Also there are a couple of fixes for mobile browsers:
  1. RadRating - Fixed: Mobile browser support for RadRating half/exact precision
  2. RadWindow - Fixed: When NavigateUrl is used under mobile device (iPad, etc), the IFRAME overflows the RadWindow.

Hope this helps.
All the best,
Niko
