I am using internet explorer Version 8.0.7601.17514 to test my silverlight web application using test studio version 2013.2.1210.0.
I am executing my test from visual studio 2012. Everytime I am running my test, at some point of time it gives "Internet Explorer has stopped working" error message and failing my test. There is no consistency, sometimes its showing the error and sometimes it runs without any error.
I am not able to find the root cause of this issue.
Can someone help on this issue?

Hello Keshab,

Usually such problems need to be reproduced locally in order to be investigated. We will need at least the error message you are getting at the time of the crash. Are you experiencing the same behavior with newer versions of IE? What about other executing browsers?

Looking forward to hearing from you with more details.

Hi Ivaylo,

Thank you for the reply.

Actually we are experiencing same behavior with newer versions of IE, on top of that we were also experiencing some silverlight compatibility issues in IE 9 an IE 10. So we degraded our IE version to 8.

As of now we are executing our test only in IE, so not sure about other browsers.

Please find the attached screenshot for the error message.

Regards,
Keshab

Hello Keshab,

Please excuse me for the delayed reply.
Unfortunately this is the standard message when IE is crashing so having this screenshot is not of a further help. We will need the system message in order to investigate further.

Please note that the best course of action will be if you are able to provide us with access to the application you are testing so we can reproduce this behavior.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
