Another Idea

To streamline the work environment of a developer I think the task management and former discussed sub tasks should get integrated in Visual Studio.
The simpliest scenario could be e.g. an authenticated RSS feed which is linked into VS.
Once you click on an item you get immediately direct to the correct screen in TeamPulse.
A more advanced scenario is that you can really manage tasks and sub tasks from within VS.
This also opens the way to link check-ins from TFS/SVN/GIT to tasks and when available Sub Tasks.

Kind regards,

Raoul

I love this idea, we are moving away from JIRA as our bug tracking and using Team Pulse and I really miss the visual studio integration

Hello George & Raoul,

Thanks for the suggestion. We also see value in tighter integration between TeamPulse and Visual Studio around task management and check-in tracking in particular. These types of additions will be considered for future versions.

Kind regards,

Hi Adam,

Currently Visual Studio integration is still under consideration but has to this point not bubbled to the top of our back log. I encourage anyone interested in VS integration features to visit our Feedback Portal and either add or vote for features you would like to see, as this is the surest sign we have of customer interest.

Regards,
