Hello,

I am considering using the Telerik Reporting suite and am wondering if it will display text from the Telerik Editor control. Specifically, I want to know if the reports can display the same "track change" styles that are visible in the editor. The data is stored with all the markup in a database, so I'm wondering if the report would be able to interpret it and display it correctly.

Thanks,

Cameron

Hi Cameron,

HTML content can be used in reports only for text-formatting. The supported HTML tags and CSS attributes are listed in the HtmlTextBox overview article. Not supported HTML tags and CSS attributes will not be displayed.

An approach to render the HTML as an image, which can be used in reports via PictureBox item, is elaborated by my colleague in this forum post.

On a side note, Telerik UI for AJAX and Telerik Kendo UI provide libraries for exporting HTML in other formats. For more details, please check ClientExportManager.
