Installing JustCode internal builds return errors (while installation completed successfully)

    Hi,

    When I install the latest internal build (May 31st, 2012) to my Visual Studio 2008, I encountered this issue several times.

    Which I usually uncheck the "Restart Microsoft Visual Studio" option and just submit the error report to Microsoft.

    I find it annoying though every time the installation did completed successfully with these error prompts.

    This also happens to other installers of Telerik controls.

    I've attached a screenshot for your reference. (and also the successful screen despite the errors encountered during installation)

    Hi,

     Thanks for the feedback.
    Do you by any chance install JustCode or any other Telerik control without closing the VS?
    If does please close VS and try to install. If the issue persists please get back to us.
    We are thinking to improve our installer in the future so it will suggest to close the VS.

    Hi Zdravko,

    I did close the Visual Studio (no instance of VS is running) while I'm installing the JustCode, it did happens to other Telerik controls installer during the installation (all VS instances are closed).

    But it's not an issue since it's still being installed successfully, just that it keep requesting users to send crash report to Microsoft.

    Yes, I'm waiting for better installer or installation experience from Telerik soon ;-)
