Just curious if you'd share what you built your installer with or if you'd have recommendations? We're planning on a silverlight app msi and wanted similar deployment options. Looking into web deployment and web setup projects but custom screens like end user agreements, etc. seem challenging. Thanks!

Hi James,

The TeamPulse installer is built using WiX (Windows Installer XML), a free and open source toolset originally created by Microsoft. More information can be found on the official WiX Toolset page, or via the WiX CodePlex page.

Any professional installer package is definitely a challenging experience, and working with WiX is no different. However it is very flexible, and there is a fair amount of information available on the web for consumption.

Best of luck on your installer!

Well now I see the EULA is actually pretty easy in web setup - but as for the rest of it....

Thanks for the info on WiX. Looks like a good tool.
