Hi

I have a new PC running Vista, I've installed VS2005, and have both 2 & 3.5 frameworks.

When I try to install the Telerik Trainer I et the following error:

Setup has detected the file file 'C\users\...........\dotnetfx35setup.exe' has changes since it was published. Click OK to retry the download, or cancel.

If I hit to retry it just loops bacl with the same message.

Any ideas?

Andy

Hello Andy,
While researching your particular installation problem, we found several similar issues reported on other software which were caused by newer versions of either the .NET framework itself, Visual Studio, or any service packs of either being placed at the same location for download as an older version.  For example, see the following link here, which describes a similar issue.

If you have installed any beta or otherwise different versions of any of these products or service packs, we recommend uninstalling those versions, and then either downloading and installing the latest versions yourself, or attempting to allow the trainer to download the correct version.

Please let us know if this helps resolve your issue.

Thank you,
Rachel
