We're using the RadEditor in SharePoint 2007 (version 4.5.4), and have configured it to show the Insert Paragraph button.

When we press the button on the toolbar it inserts a paragraph - but it also inserts a space in front of the cursor (or caret?) Also, if you've got text after the cursor it isn't put into the new paragraph (in the HTML view you can see that this text is now after the new paragraph, rather than in it)

However, if we press CTRL-m, however, it just starts a new paragraph. No space, and if there is text after the cursor it is put into the new paragraph. I'm not sure what's setting the CTRL-m shortcut (it isn't in the toolsfile), but I found out about it here:

Is there a way of making the button behave like a 'CTRL-m'?

Also, where can I find out what is the latest version of the RadEditor for SharePoint? I keep seeing people writing about version 5.x.x? But the latest I can find is 4.5.4.

    Hi Andrew Burns,

You can download the latest version of RadEdiotr for MOSS form the Visual Studio Extensions, DLLs, Scripts, Source Code, DNN and MOSS wrappers ...  subsection of the Download also: section in the Download page of our site.

You can find information on upgrading the RadEditor for MOSS in the following help article http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/upgrade-instructions-from-v4-to-v5.html.

Also you should know that next week we will release new version of RadEditor for MOSS 5.4. There will be fixed some IE8 issues and some MOSS related features will be added.

So please upgrade to the latest version of the RadEditor. If you still have the problems that you describe in the post, we will be glad to help you further.

    Sincerely yours,
    Stanimir
