Initial loading indicator when loading grid

When the grid is initilalised, and waiting for its first data set to be returned from the remote datasource, the loading indicator doesn't show, which makes it unclear to the user that data is being loaded...

Is this a bug, or is there a way I can change this behaviour?

It works perfectly fine when going to another page; then we have a nice loading indicator when data is being fetched...

I'm afraid that I'm not sure what may cause the described behavior on your side. The loading indicator should be shown on initial load as visible on our online demos. It will be appreciated if you could provide a bit more details on how to recreate the issue you are observing locally.

You may open a support ticket and provide the required information there. Or may you can send us a small sample, which uses some test/fake data and in which the issue could be observed locally.

Were you able to reproduce this?  I can reproduce by not setting an initial height for the grid in the markup.  I would like my grid to adjust the height automatically, but until this works I will have to set a height.
