I have a smaill script that LOADS and external URL fine... However it takes a long time ( up to 10 seconds sometimes) for the external URL to load, and while that happens, my webview (or whatever is controlling the phone screen) appears as a blank screen without any feedback to the user... QUESTIONS: 1) what is producing the BLANK SCREEN for such a long time ?... 2) Trying to LOAD a message fired from the LOADSTART event, does not show the message until about 1 second before the external url is loaded... WHAT IS HAPPENING ?...

Unfortunately, the provided information is not enough to isolate the issue. Would you please, share a code snippet of how you call the InAppBrowser window to open the problematic site.
If you want to share a sample project that reproduces the issue, I'd recommend that you open a support ticket, which is private and comes with a guaranteed response time and share the application there.
