Hi, We've successfully integrated the fully featured RADeditor in our sharepoint 2007 layouts, but recently discovered that some layouts that use the image upload control are not working across all browsers. Is there an equivalend solution for this control at Telerik (similar to replacing the html editor with radeditor)

Thanks
Maha

Hi Maha,

If you want to use the RadEditor's ImageManager, you should to modify the ToolsFile.xml which is located in the following folder:

/Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/4.3.1.0__1f131a624888eeed/RadControls/Editor/

and remove the MOSS string from the MOSSImageManager tag, e.g.

        <tool name="ImageManager" shortcut="CTRL+G"/>

HI.. oops! sorry just noticed you said radeditors image manager..so you can use the image manager on its own, on a layout that already contains an editor placeholder? correct me if I'm wrong!
thanks again!

Hi Maha,

There is a solution for telerik customers only allowing them to use the Image manager outside the standard RadEditor for ASP.NET. You can see the following KB article on the topic: (ID#549) Using the Image manager outside r.a.d.editor 5.x - 7.x. The article is prepared for customers only and you should be logged into your Client.net account in order to see it.
