I have a virtualized DataboundListBox with an image in the Item Template.    The image sources are loading on a timer as to not occupy the UI thread exclusively.  What Im looking for is the ability to fade in, opacity from 0 to 1, the image once the Image.Source Property is updated.  Is this possible with your Animation Framework?

Hello Michael,

Thanks for writing and for your question. Also, please excuse us for the delay with our answer. The last couple of days have been national holidays here in Bulgaria and we have been working with reduced workforce.

Our animation framework can be used to animate any type of visual Silverlight elements so your requirement is completely doable by using it. Since we already have similar functionality - RadPanAndZoomImage - you may be interested in using it instead of implementing similar behavior on your side.

Take a look at our online help here:

Actually I am beginner in the world of animations. My problem is I want to set an image as background for WPF window using Image Brush and then I want to change that image source with different images using animation at different key times in total duration of animation. Any type of help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Yuanyuan,

Thank you for writing.

Our online documentation contains a lot of information about the animation aspects, features and capabilities. You can start from here. Another option that you have is to see our Examples application (part of RadControls' installation) and check out what demos we have made for the different types of animations.

I hope this information will help you.
