We have a problem with our website running on Sharepoint and telerik rad editor.

When we upload a picture and use image properties to float the picture to the left or to the right of the content, margin is set to 0px by default which makes the image too close from the text. There is an option to change the margin from the image properties dialog box, but our users are not good enough to use this functionality so we end up with pages that do not look so nice.

Our consulent company is offering to add a default margin but they require that we always float images to the left for exmaple, which is not ideal solution as we would like to have possiblity to float pictures to left, right, top, bottom.

My question is if it is possible to add default margin to the image for each type of float used, so images will always look good in the document, no matter how the image is placed in the document? What will be your recommendation ?

Thank you.

Hello Sebastien ,

Could you confirm exactly which version of RadEditor for MOSS are you using? Is it the Lite version or the full 5.x version of the control?

Thank you.

Hello Sebastien ,

Please upgrade to the latest version of RadEditor for MOSS, which now is 5.4.0. You can find information on upgrading to newer version of the control in the following help article http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/upgrade_to_a_newer_version_of_radeditor_for_moss.html.

If the issue persists after the upgrade, we will be glad to help you further.

All the best,
