Is there a way to add a file to the AppBuilder project but flag it so it is not compiled into the final project?

The reason I want this is a simple text file that has build instructions in it.  Another use case is if I want to retire a file but keep it with the project.

Thanks for any suggestions in advance!

Craig

Hello Craig,

Fortunately, there is a way to ignore files but only when building your package in CLI yet. For the purpose you have to include .abignore file and use the rules as in our documentation.
If you have any questions on the matter I will be glad to help.

However, we recently found a bug which prevents our build service from respecting the file and we are working on to investigate and fix the cause.
Thanks for your understanding.
