We are unable to edit content in IE8.

·         Select Edit Content

·         Tool Bar appears

·         We are then unable to select any of the drop downs (Select, Style, Para)

We do get form.js errors
i.e  Invalid argument

·         RTE2PUEditor.aspx

·         Moss 2007 SP2

·         WSS 2.0

·         Windows Server 2003 SP2

Everything works as expected in IE7 and using IE7 compatibility mode.

Hi Dawn,

The latest Lite version of RadEditor for MOSS is based on 7.3.6.0 version of the classic ASP.NET RadEditor. This control was release long before the official release of IE8. So in order to be sure that you will have full compatibility with Lite RadEditor for MOSS and IE8 you need to make sure that you are in IE7 compatibility mode. In order to do this you have to add the following meta element in the page where you are using the Lite RadEditor for MOSS.
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" >
