Hi, I am running fiddler4.2.6 on windows server 2008. When I open a website with IE, it cannot open any images of the website. But IE works well when fiddler closed. I don't know why?

Thank you ,Vanya.  I have checked the IE proxy setting, it's ok. But the problem is remain existing. when I connect to a website with fiddler openning, the explorer can display the content of the website well except images, red crosses are displayed at the places of these images. I also checked the requests and reponses of these images in the fiddler, all the reponse headers  are "HTTP/1.1 200 OK", but these images cannot be  displayed in the imageView tab too, all are red cross.

Hello Bo Yang,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Do you experience this behavior only with IE or with any other browser?

Please try with anotner one and let me know about the result.

Is there a chance you have some active filters?

Yes, I once had a filter only showing a specific IP address. But when I canceled the filter, the problem still exists.

Hello,

Just to make sure no filters interfere could you try the Troubleshoot option in the Help menu?

A screenshot of the Headers tabs for one of the images in question may help to reveal the nature of the problem you're encountering. Better still would be sharing a SAZ file (File > Save > Session Archive) which contains the images which aren't rendering as expected.

The most likely explanation is that you have either an extension or FiddlerScript (Rules > Customize Rules) which is corrupting the response body such that it is no longer a valid image.

Thank you, EricLaw. The reason is that  I added some rules to the reponse body in FiddlerScript. Fidller works well when I removed these rules.
