hi, i have tried to install the teampulse community OR Q3 beta.
both during installation failed to connect to DB.
My architecture:
Local machine : win 7 64 bit
DB: on a VPC (win 2003, SQL 2008 10.0.2531.0 )
The vpc has TFS 2010 installed.
The user i'm trying to create as the DB is vpc\TFSSETUP with permissions to create DB..

I have repaetably receiving the error of connecting to the SQL.
I can't install it on the VPC , since it is OS win2003..
Please advise

Hello hila,

 Can you try to access the database from your host machine (Win7)? You can use SQL Server Management Studio or Visual Studio Server Explorer.
You have to configure your SQL server to allow remote connections. You can find some help here.

Another option is to install SQL Server Express on your machine.
