Hi,

My question might sound quite dumb to some people, but is it possible to use SignalR to push notification to the Icenium/Phonegap/Cordova mobile app ? Is this as easy as just calling a javascript method within the app from the server side ?

Thanks,

Chris

The "server" implementation in the Icenium blog post about Push Notification is based on node.js (Push Notifications With Cordova & Icenium), so if you do the same for ASP.NET, the SignalR library is the way to go.

Do not see any reason why you would want to do it manually, when the Icenium BaaS provider Everlive makes it even easier: Introducing Push Notifications services: Push for hybrid apps made easy.
