Hello,

I have the full Telerik suite installed on my machine using VS 2008. I'm trying to use the ORM tool and am following the PDF tutorial here: http://www.telerik.com/documents/OpenAccess-MadeEasy.pdf

When I click 'Telerik' on the top toolbar, I only see stuff about reporting.

I having to right click on my PROJECT to see the 'OpenAccess' menu item, and when I drill further into this, My only options are 'Enable Project',  'Add DataForm', 'Add IObjectContextProvider' and 'Update Config References'...

Where can I find the 'Reverse Mapping' and 'Forward Mapping' wizards? The version of the Telerik.OpenAccess assemblies that are references in my project (automatically via the 'Enable Project' wizard) is '2008.3.1204.1'

Please advise..

Drew

Hello Drew ,

It seems you are using the 2008.3.1204.1 version which is rather old (Q3 2008). At that time the OpenAccess menu was not yet integrated in the common Telerik menu. Most probably you have a separate OpenAccess menu in your Visual Studio near the "Window" entry, please check the menubar again. The Forward and Reverse mapping wizards should be there, as well as some additional options.
If you still cannot find it, try installing a newer version of Telerik OpenAccess ORM.

Sincerely yours,
Alexander
