Hi telerik

When I am idle on a page which contains a hubtile, occasionally receive the following exception:

System.InvalidOperationException
{"Cannot resolve TargetName FrontProjection."}

   at MS.Internal.XcpImports.VisualStateManager_GoToState(Control reference, String StateName, Boolean useTransitions, Boolean& refreshInheritanceContext)
   at System.Windows.VisualStateManager.GoToState(Control control, String stateName, Boolean useTransitions)
   at Telerik.Windows.Controls.HubTileBase.Update()
   at Telerik.Windows.Controls.HubTileBase.OnUpdateTimerTick(Object sender, EventArgs e)
   at MS.Internal.CoreInvokeHandler.InvokeEventHandler

I have noticed this since the last update.

Best Regards

Hello Doug,

Thank you for writing.
I tried to reproduce the exception by declaring a RadHubTile instance on a page and setting its BackContent property so that it flips periodically. The app ran for one hour and no exception occurred. Can you please send a sample app that demonstrates the issue so that I may debug it?

I am looking forward to your reply.

Hi!

I created an example application for you which only a hubtile in it and some pages but I couldn't reproduce this.
I was hoping that the exception will help you fix this, unfortunately this will than remain a mystery...
In case I figure out what is going on I will let you know.

Hi Emanuel,

Thank you for writing.
I am afraid that we have not been able to reproduce the issue. So far only Doug and you have stumbled upon it. Can you please post a support ticket and attach your application so that I may debug it?
I am looking forward to your reply.

Kind regards,

Hi Behzad,

I am afraid we never received additional information about this problem and we were unable to reproduce it locally. Can you please open a support ticket and attach a sample app, which reproduces the issue, so that we can take a look? Thank you.

Best regards,
Ves

Hi Behzad,

Here's how to open a support ticket:
  • In the upper right corner of the Telerik home page you should see a greeting "Hi, Behzad". If not, you should see "Your Account" and clicking on it you will be taken to the login page.
  • Click on that greeting and choose "Support Tickets"
  • Then click on "Contact Support Team" button.
  • Now choose the product and click on the "Submit Support Ticket" button in the corresponding section

Best regards,
Ves
