Hi,

There seems to be a problem when adding background image for  table in editor. When you add image -- editor displayes it fine, but after publishing page, image disappers and won't come back in edit mode.

Radeditor's version is 5.3.2.0

Hi primus,

Could you please inform us in what scenario are you using the RadEditor? Is it a web part of a form (list, wiki, blog)?

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Oi

It's used as a fieldcontrol in a page template. Defined as "<TelerikEditor:RadHtmlField...". Field assigned to editor is  OOB MOSS PublishingPageContent, which is has following field attributes: Type="HTML" Required="FALSE" Sealed="TRUE" RichText="TRUE" RichTextMode="FullHtml".

Hello Primus,

You can see the actual HTML code that is sent to the SharePoint server by toggling between Design and Html mode of the RadEditor. Unfortunately after the content is sent to the server some filters are applied over it. They are responsible of stripping the background image of the table. RadEditor for MOSS has no control on this behavior. You can try this with the OOB SharePoint Editor and the result will be the same. The background settings will be stripped.
