How to use DockingClientPanelWorkspace

I have just started trying to use the Telerik CAB in a project.

I have looked at the FinanceApplication included in the sample project and managed to put together my own application using the RadDockableWorkspace.

What I want to know is what and how the DockingClientPanelWorkspace is used. My only guess is that it is used in a dockpanel or documentPane.

Thank you for writing.

You are correct. The DockingClientPanelWorkspace is a DockPanel and a thin implementation of IComposableWorkspace. The idea is to have a DockPanel that acts as a workspace.

Why would you use a DockingClientPanelWorkspace instead of a RadDockableWorkspace?

Hello Adrian Halid,

In fact no, RadDockableWorkspace is not a DockPanel - it can contain DockPanels. You will want to use DockingClientPanelWorkspace when, for example, you want to have a RadDockableWorkspace, and have one of its dockables be a workspace itself.
