Hi, TeamPulse gurus.  I could use your expertise with this need.

I am looking to reuse an existing TeamPulse project, complete with its iterations/stories/tasks and XML settings, for repetitive similar projects.  I have been searching for a type of 'save project as...' command, but I cannot find it.

Is there a way I can reuse existing projects?  I would hate to retype all those iterations/stories/tasks all over again.

p.s. my company is on TeamPulse version 2013.1.606.0, and we use both the Silverlight and the HTML interface of TeamPulse.

Hi Paul,

There is a similar request in our Feedback Portal for coping project. You can go and vote for it - here. I would highly encourage you to go open the item and vote for it, as the more votes an item gets, the more likely it will be to get implemented sooner.

In short term you can create a project template from your project. You need to insert a record into database with your project configuration  (check the ProjectTemplate table).
And to use import/export functionality for Stories. During the import all the iterations define for stores will be created. We will add the export for all types into the HTML interface for the next release.

If you have any other ideas or feedback, please contact us at any time or submit them in our Feedback Portal.

Regards,
Ivan
