I am using the RadDateSelector in a Windows Phone 8 app and I the control keeps taking too much room on the page.

I have it inside a grid with the row set to Automatic Height.

Do I need to use the Scale ratio to shrink or is there a cleaner way?

I notice that setting negative margins also helps with resizing that control.

Thanks in advance

Hi Marco,

The RadDateSelector needs some space in order to ensure good user experience to the end users. When date components are selected the LoopingLists need to display parts of the not-selected items so that your users get the idea of what they're looking at.

Setting a Scale is a good approach to preserve the appearance but to make the control smaller.
