I just updated to the newest version and went through the release note. The change "Column aligned aggregates" in GridView caught my interest, but I seem to be unable to find anything usefull when I search for that term anywhere (also in the documentation).

There were no link in the release note to take me to a detailed description of this change.

How and where do I find the documentation of this?

Thanks

Hello,

You could check the Aggregates WPF Demo as well as this help article

Thanks. I searched for the exact phrase from the release note and did not find it. I did not have the patience nor time to read it all and I doubt I would have found it, since it meant something else than I thought it meant (slightly).

But thanks for your quick answer.

It would be nice, however, if the detailed description of the changes were readily available from the release note itself. Just a picture or a few worlds describing what the change is behind a link or something.

Yes, I went there but gave it up.
I just wanted a quick look into the new features and changes. I guess I am not a very patient person - and I really to not have the patience (or the time) to match a release note up against documentation and a forum post on phrases which is unsearchable because the same terms are not used everywhere.

What I would like to do, when a new version is released is to get a quick overview of the changes and new stuff in order to determine if I can use it now or maybe later. I do not want to have to read/search through loads of pages in existing documentation in order to make that decision - it is simply to slow because I would have to read through all the old stuff, too.

It would have been an investigation to figure out what "Column aligned aggregates" means and how to implement them. A picture behind a link in the release note would have solved this for me very quickly. Then I could make a note for myself to look into it later or perhaps to implement it right away.

The documentation is great, just not for this single purpose.
