How to make a transparent tile?

Hi,
How do I create a tile with a transparent background so that it comes out in the accent colour?. Currently the background bits of the Visual Element come out in black.

Thank you for your question.

Currently, it is not possible to create a tile with transparent background with our LiveTileHelper. We have plans to extend the features of this control, so stay tuned and expect to see this feature soon.

Hi Todor,

any updates on that problem? With 2013.1 I still have the problem if I use a .png image for example.
The background ist black and not in accent colour.

Edit: I have downgraded to 2012.3.1311.2040 again, and accent color works. Layout was wrong with 2013.1, too.
2012.3 makes it perfect.

The support of transparency was introduced with Q1 2013. We added a new property IsTransparencySupported. Here you can see an example.
