How to install controls

I have taken over someone else's computer and it seems that Telerik is already installed on it. e.g I see a a menu item "Telerik" on the bar; there is a "Telerik" folder in "Program Files" Which contains thousands of files; the GAC shows many Telerik assemblies but they are all for Reporting. But, the folder "Telerik" in the ToolBox contains only one control "ReportViewer".
How do I get the other tools to show up?

Would you please confirm if the designer is opened in your Visual Studio? Another possible reason for the missing controls is if your project uses different .NET Framework version than the controls' version set in the Toolbox.

I would recommend to use the Toolbox Configurator under the Telerik menu of your Visual Studio to set the required controls in the Visual Studio Toolbox. Additional information on the Toolbox Configurator could be found on the following address: LINK

We do have a license but the configurator shows Trial in the dropdown.

In this case I would suggest to download the purchased versions with your licensed account, install and set them using the Toolbox Configurator. The Toolbox Configurator will automatically detect the installed versions if they are installed on the default location.
