    Hi all,

I'm beginning to use AppBuilder (extension for Visual Studio) to develop a HybridApp. I'm following this example

I have tried to import "cordova-plugin-ms-adal" plugin (as .zip file) from https://cordova.apache.org/plugins into the app. When I try to run the app in the simulator and emulator it always give an error that "Microsoft" is undefined. It seems the plugin is not imported into app.

I checked from Telerik docs: "Custom Apache Cordova plugins are not supported in the simulator and in the AppBuilder companion app."

Anyone can help me to resolve this issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Hon,

Indeed, the most Custom Plugins are not supported when the app is run in the Simulator. For more details, you can refer to the documentation on Limitations of the Companion App.

Do you observe the same error message when deploying the app on an actual device? In case yes, then would you please submit a support case under product category AppBuilder through the ticketing system (here) and provide the demo solution you test on? It will be very helpful if you can also list a step-by-step instructions on how to proceed, so that we can verify the same error locally.

Visit the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace and get the custom Cordova plugin you need, already tweaked to work seamlessly with AppBuilder.

    Thanks Dimitrina,

I tried to build an Android package to test on an actual device, but I had an issue when packing.

    I have submitted a support already (989261).
