Since this is based on Cordova, am I right to assume that BT on the iOS is not supported? is there any idea of when such API is going to be developed (if it's even on the pipeline)?

Hi Rui,

As far as we know, there isn't an officially-supported Cordova plugin that provides access to the Bluetooth radios on both Android and iOS devices.

Right now we don't have any plans for developing original Cordova plugins, but we're always open to feedback from our community when choosing our path forward.

Not sure if it is officially supported (guess not), but this one could make it in a near future release I think: http://simonmacdonald.blogspot.nl/2013/03/phonegap-bluetooth-plugin-updated.html

Hi Jan-Dirk,

This isn't a pluginstall-compatible plugin (no plugin.xml) so it wouldn't be trivial to integrate, but we'll keep an eye on it to see how it develops.
