Hi Andy,
Currently RadPanelBar expands only vertically. Can you please let us know where you read that the control can "expand either vertically (native) or horizontally via a property"?
The ExpandMode property you mention determines the allowed number of expanded items - Single or Multiple.
In case you need RadPanelBar to expand horizontally, you can achieve that by customizing the default control template.

Here is the text from the Features tab on the website.
"Different Expand Modes
The ExpandMode can be either horizontal or vertical depending on a
single property setting. When in single ExpandMode, all the panel items
will collapse except the item that has just been expanded."
I will try customizing the control template thanks

Andy,
Were you able to obtain the expected horizontal Panel after modifying the template? Would you mind sharing those changes?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Tihomir,
Could you please let me know whether now "RadPanelBar is expands Horizontally"?? If yes then how to achieve it? Do we have to upgrade the version of telerik DLL. Currently I am using File Version 2012.411.40.
Thanx,

Hello Birendra,
Currently the RadPanelBar supports horizontal orientation. You can achieve this using the Orientation property of the control. Check the RadPanelBar Accordion demo.
