I have created a horizontal bar chart but the labels are not aligned properly as you can see in the attached screen shot.

Is this a known issue?

Hi Richard,

Thanks for writing.
This behavior is by design. The labels are not really misaligned but rather forced to fit inside the plot area. Otherwise the top label will be outside of the plot area and it will be clipped and therefore unreadable.
