High dpi not supported in highlighting mode

Hello,

I am evaluating this product for one of my clients. Although the record stuff seems to work nice, highlighting does not. On a high-dpi window (Surface Pro, Macbooks, etc), the highlighting is off. It should translate the coordinates based on the DPI settings of the system.

Can you please add support for any dpi?

Yes Test Studio only support 100% DPI as it is described in this article.

Thanks for your reply. But instead of documenting something that doesn't work, why don't you fix it? The rest of the app works fine, and we need to test our apps at high-dpi as well.

Hi,

For browser related issues Test Studio performs built in browser calibration however this one in particular is system setting. We are definitely going to investigate that but have not had a chance to research how to solve it yet.

Unfortunately no, we don't have a solution to the Windows high DPI and recorder highlighting problem. However I logged a public issue here which everyone can follow, vote, comment on etc. in order for this improvement to be prioritized accordingly.

This is issue might be enough for me to no longer recommend test studio to my team.  We are using 4k monitors and only one person can tolerate 100% DPI setting.
