I'd like to hide the ColorPicker button to look like in the image attached.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks.

Could you please elaborate more on the desired effect? Do you need only the left part of the SplitButton but with the ColorSelector in the DropDownContent? What do you wish to happen on click of this Square Button ?
I guess this is is possible but requires serious Template Changes you have to make in the default Template of the ColorPicker.

I too wanted to modify the default template for the color-picker. The template for Kendo UI Web v2013.3.1119 is on line 23760
It does not appear that _template is accessible, so I overwrote this with my own template. I would prefer not to do this, because it makes it an issue when upgrading Kendo UI.
Can this be exposed so on initialization we can set the template as we do with other kendo controls?
Hello Michael,
The provided information indicates that you are working on a production application that uses Kendo UI, but your account is not associated with a commercial Kendo UI or DevCraft license and your trial has expired. This violates our license agreement.
If your company has spare licenses, you could ask the license holder to assign you as a license developer, as explained here. Otherwise you will need to purchase a new license.

No
we are not in violation because we are using the version before the license changes. That is one reason we have not upgraded yet.
We
are using version 2013.3.1119 which was free and did not require a license
purchase as it did not have the DataViz components or other advanced pieces.
When we started using Kendo UI we worked with a contact to make sure we could use the tools we have in place.
Hello Michael,
I assume that you are referring to the Kendo UI Web open source product. Thank you for the clarification.
Nevertheless we still cannot provide technical support assistance. The current forum is UI for WPF related, and not Kendo UI. Posting threads in the Kendo UI forums is eligible for license holders and users with active trial only.
