Hello,
Recently installed Telerik.  When I view the code, in Visual Studio, there are blue guide lines displaying groups of code.  Can I turn this off.  Sometimes it's helpful but sometimes it's too distracting.  Attached is a picture of it.

Hi Bryan,
You can disable the structural highlighting from the JustCode menu -> Options -> Visual Features -> Structural Highlighting. If you want to disable it only for your ASP code, you can disable just the "Xml Element" setting as shown here.

I hope that helps!

I uncheck the box in the options dialog to disable this feature, VS restarts and they (the annoying guides) are still there. Nothing I set in this options dialog box regarding the Structural Highlighting takes effect. Such as turning them off or changing colors or "Connecting Lines Style"

It's like the only way to turn them off or have any affect on them is to uninstall JustCode, which I guess I'm going to have to do.

Hello Scott,

We are really sorry for the inconvenience!
The issue you reported us seems rather strange, we have never received such a feedback. Anyway, could you once more time try to disable this feature (JustCode | Options | Visual Features | Structural Highlighting | disable the checkbox for 'Structural Highlighting') and check if the lines are gone (have in mind that you might need to scroll up/down the view for the document for the changes to take effect). If they are still appearing, could you send us your settings file (%appdata%\JustCode\settings-justcode.xml)

Best Regards,

Thank you for responding. I'm sorry for the delay on my reply. It turns out that JustCode Structural Highlighting works perfectly. I'm an idiot and didn't realize that Microsoft Power Tools were putting the grid lines up in my code editor and NOT the JustCode extension.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
