Hello,

I am currently working on converting some of the list controls in my WP7 app to use the DataBoundListBox and JumpList controls.  Coming from the Silverlight Toolkit's LongListSelector, one thing I haven't been able to find is header and footer templates.  In the LongListSelector, content assigned to ListHeaderTemplate and ListFooterTemplate appears at the top or bottom of the list, but scrolls off the screen as the user scrolls through the list items.

Are there plans to add header and footer templates to Telerik's controls?  As a workaround, I could probably add some extra rows to the data source the DataBoundListBox/JumpList is bound to and use a TemplateSelector to choose alternate templates for the first and last items in the list, but I would like to avoid this type of workaround if possible.

Thanks,
Matt

Hello Matt,

Thanks for contacting us and for your questions.

Indeed, currently the only possibility to implement the desired behavior is to add some extra items in your data collection and use a template selector. However, I would like to inform you that we have the desired functionality on our TODO list and we will provide it as soon as possible (probably for the Q1 SP1 release).

Do not hesitate to get back to us in case you have further questions or need assistance.

Greetings,
