Wuuuu, this has possibilites! I've recenty given the users of one of "my" applications access to select from the available skins themselves and so of course immediately follows the request for "can you change this? can you change that?".
Can't wait to get to play with this (the preview is erroring out at the moment but I trust that's a temporary thing as the message state it has been reported). :)
So in keeping with the user being given something great to play with and immediately asking for more ....
I second/third/umpteenth the mentions about how it would be nice to be able to set a "base color" based on hex or RGB etc and have the hues auto-calculated from there to start then adjusted more with the sliders if desired. Something like that would enable us to know that we're matching a particular color to start (such as a prominent logo color or such that the would like the theme to be based on). Monitors display color in such different fashions it would be hard to know that an exact match has been made otherwise.
