Hello Stephane,

Thanks for writing.

There are plans for supporting grouping, filtering and sorting in RadListView. I cannot give an exact estimation of when these features will be available though but you can expect them by the end of the summer.

Let me know in case you have further questions.

Is there any news on this?

I find the ability to have a sectioned list view and grouping critical to most applications out there.

Is it on the roadmap or do you have a proposed solution on how to achieve it?

Hi,

Thank you for writing us back.

This feature is still under review, however in regard to your question  grouping the data for the ListView items would be available only for NativeScript Anguler2 projects, because of the fact that angular2 supports data filters and will help the user to filter the data. While this feature is still under review as a temporary solution you could also use https://github.com/rajivnarayana/nativescript-sectioned-list-view , which provides similar functionality.

I hope this information helps

Hi,

At the moment this is the only available plugin that supports such a functionality. This plugin has been developed by one of our community members. I found that already exist an issue for supporting this functionality for Android. You could vote for this feature request this issue. In regard to you could find the release notes when `---pro` has  already  supported sectioned list .

I hope this is applicable you.

Hello,

are there any updates concerning the grouping functionality in RadListView?

Until the latest version of Telerik UI for nativeScript (1.5.1), I can't see any changes in the release notes.

Best regards

Hello,
Thank you for writing us back.

The feature for grouped RadListView is still under review and it will be planned for some of the future UI for NativeScript versions. At that point,  one another way to implement grouped ListView is to create NativeScript Angular2 project and to use ngSwitch directive, which will help you to specify the, which of the items of the component are headers. For further you could also review the example here, where has been demonstrated this case and how to use this Angular 2 directive.

Let me know whether this helps or if I could assist you further.
