    Hi all...

I have a requirement to be able to drag the data contained within a group to another grid by dragging the group header row.

Anyone have any ideas as to if/how this could be achieved?

    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,

Unfortunately, this scenario is not supported by the GridView out of the box.

You can try creating a custom DragDropBehavior that can migrate items from one group to another grid. You will have to subscribe to the drag drop events with handled events too set to true in order to get the events fired.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,
    Nik

I have this requirement too, could you please give a simple project sample where this is achived? I have drag/drop working with "regular" grid rows, but now I need to be able to drag the group header row to another grid.

    Hello Saurabh,

We had some issues with the attachment functionality of our forum. However, the problem should already be resolved. Can you please try again to download the sample application?
