Grid Overlay Ontop of a Docking Control

I must be missing something small here.  I'm using the Docking control in a project.  Above the Docking control, I have a button that change's the visibility of a Grid.  What I'm trying to do here, is display that Grid ontop of the entire Docking control.  But it's not happening. The Docking control seems to always wanting to be on top. Is there a Z-Index or some other property that I can change here.

Both the Grid and the Docking control are using the same Grid.Row value of "1".

I solved it myself - I overlooked a basic task.
