This morning I installed the update to Graphite and have had nothing but trouble since. Graphite loads fine, but the whole IDE is empty, like it cannot download any providers from the cloud. So, I uninstalled/reinstalled; no success. I uninstalled/removed the AppData/reinstalled; no success. I opened the IDE and left it open thinking the network was slow; no success. I shut down my firewall to be sure that there was nothing blocking; no success.

I do have gitHub installed, and had Graphite using it.

At this point I am really confused as to what to try next, so I am seeking help from the community.

Thanks.

Hello Al,

Can you temporary fallback to Icenium Mist (https://app.icenium.com/Mist) if it works.

As for Graphite we will be very thankful if you can send us Fiddler log during Graphite start and app logs from %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\ to support{at}icenium.com .

I took the time to install Graphite on another (older/slower) computer. It did not have it installed before today. It appears to be functioning properly.

Mist does seem to work fine on the same PC as the one I am having issue with Graphite. I do not have Chrome installed, so I cannot run the emulator. I use both the emulator and devices to ensure there are no problems between the two.

I sent the Fiddler log along to the email provided.

Thanks.

Hi Al,

We have investigated your problem and it turns out that some other software installation has installed an older version of Json.NET (Newthonsoft. Json.dll) library in the Global Assembly Cache and Graphite is loading this assembly instead of the correct one.

We are in a process of testing and verifying a new version of Icenium Graphite that will use the correct version of the library.

Note: As a temporary workaround you may remove this assembly from the GAC, but you should be aware that the other software that rely on it might break.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the information.  I found that I had installed another tool which replaced those files in the GAC. I cleaned that up and reinstalled everything. It is running as expected now.

Thanks.
